Geraldine B. Kelley, 83, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in her home.

She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Muskegon, Mich., the daughter of Samuel and Grace (Weatherwax) Busard. On July 4, 1948, in Indianapolis, Ind., she was united in marriage to Ralph C. Kelley, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Ralph C. Kelley, Jr., of Portsmouth, Iowa; two daughters, Maureen Lynn Barthelemy, of St. Cloud, Minn., and Barbara Lee Shinn, of Yuba City, Calif.; one brother, William Busard, of Speedway, Ind.; two sisters, Carroll Hoover, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jeanne Schuler, of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Thomas D. Kelley and daughter-in-law, Jeanne.

She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, Ind., then attended one year at Purdue University. During World War II she worked as a comptometer operator. She was a waitress for a time at the Plaza Dinner House in Shell Knob, worked at Kelley Marine in Gerry's Greenhouse and was an Avon saleslady for 20 years. Gerry lived in Indiana, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Missouri. She had been a member of the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Rev. Judith Lloyd will conduct the services. Burial will be at Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort, Ind.
