Neal L. Skinner, 83, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, following a brief illness. He was born March 23, 1923, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Myron and Frances Jensen Skinner. He owned and operated Neal's Heating and Air.
He belonged to First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.
On June 28, 1947, he married Ruth Ransom in Wichita, Kan. She preceded him in death on March 30, 2003.
Survivors include: a son, Don Skinner and wife, Sue, of Cassville; a brother, Lyle Skinner and wife, Donna, of Hutchinson, Kan.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and Verlyn; and two sisters, Fern and Hazel, and one grandchild.
Graveside services were Saturday at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kan., with military honors conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard.
Memorials may be sent to First Church of the Nazarene, in care of the funeral home.
Immediate arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
