LOLA EMMA NICKLE

Lola Emma Nickle, 99, of Purdy, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Lacoba Nursing Center in Monett. She was born July 2, 1907, in Butterfield, the daughter of the late Anderson Monroe and Emma Jane Hazelwood Moudy.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Log Church, Church of god (Holiness) near Butterfield.

She was married to Erval Nickle on Dec. 25, 1925, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Hubert Nickle, of Wheatland, Wy., Rodger Nickle, of Rogersville; one daughter, Rena Henderson, of Purdy; 22 grandchildren; several great- and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Burial was at the Log Church Cemetery near Butterfield.
