Carroll Miller, 70, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 27, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
he was born March 6, 1936, at Green Forest, Ark., to Loyd Miller and Ola Chaney Miller. He graduated from Pea Ridge High School and attended Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Ark., where he studied mechanical drafting. he was instrumental in starting the first annual Pea Ridge Fair. He was a mechanic, home builder, and had a beef cattle and dairy operation for many years. He was a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church and the White Oak Club. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Mary Lee Miller, of Pea Ridge; one son, Tony Miller, of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Diana Bray and Joe of Cassville; one brother, Argie Miller and Jerri, of Pea Ridge; one sister, Charlotte Nyberg and Wes of Astoria, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Rev. Jerry Nichols officiating. Burial was at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
