Jerry W. Bamburg, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in Monett.

He was born Sept. 5, 1938, in Ardmore, Okla., the son of John and Willie Bamburg.

He was a retired machinist and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by one daughter, Karen Wade, of Mt Vernon.

Arrangements are under direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Burial will be at a later date.
