Clara Irene Chambers, 87, died on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, following a lengthy illness.

She was born on March 9, 1919, daughter of Chester Arthur Creller and Violet Renee Cunningham Creller, in Chanute, Kan. She was a homemaker and worked in the restaurant business for many years. She moved to Cassville 20 years ago from Joplin. She married Charles Dillard Chambers in Joplin. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, Donald Loudermilk and his wife, Pearl, of Diamond, Charles Chamber, of Cassville, Ronnie Chamber, and his wife, Kathy, of Neosho; one daughter, Linda Peterson, and her husband, Bill, of Exeter; 17 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patty Adams, and several brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home in Cassville.
