William D. "Bill" Perriman Jr., 78, of Haven, Kan., died Nov. 10, 2006, at his home.

He was born Dec. 6, 1927, at Monett, the son of William Dean and Mary Dora Black Perriman. He was a retired machinist at Cessna/Eaton.

He married Irma J. Morris at Hutchinson, Kan., Sept. 4, 1954.

She survives.

Other survivors include: four sons, Jim, Topeka, Kan., William III, Pitcher, Okla., Edward, Mt. Hope, Bob, Cheyenne, Okla.; two daughters Beth Beshears, Branson, and Kathy Jo Walker, Lewisville, Texas; four brothers, Dorman Sturgell, Houston Sturgell, Austin Sturgell, all of Aurora; Norman Sturgell, Cassville; three sisters, Margarete Evans, Cassville, Frances Elmore, Kansas City, Glena Sue Dummit, Purdy; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Smith.

Funeral services were Monday at the Haven Baptist Church with Vincent Herriman and Rev. Gary Cox presiding. Burial was at Laurel Cemetery, Haven, Kan.

Arrangements were under direction of Van Campen Funeral Home, Haven, Kan.
