ANTHONY JOSEPH GURESKI

Anthony Joseph Gureski, 53, of Shell Knob, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He was born April 7, 1953, in Springfield, Ill., the son of the late Anton and Catherine (Pamer) Gureski. He was united in marriage on April 30, 1977, to Deborah Bucy, who survives.

He worked as a union carpenter in Illinois for many years before moving to Shell Knob in 1986 where he became a self-employed concrete finisher.

Additional survivors include: one son, Anthony Otis Gureski, of Shell Knob; one daughter, Holly Marie Gureski, of Kansas City; five sisters; and mother-in-law, Audrey Bucy, of Canton, Ill. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
