Writer offers follow-up to last week's letter

Wednesday, October 18, 2006

Dear Editor:

I wrote you last week about my baby's diaper bag being stolen, and I just wanted to clear some things up that some people in the community misunderstood about what I had wrote.

I recently found out that the diaper bag could have been left by the car in the parking lot by the school. I did not know this at the time of my last letter and was told that it was left in the school/church. I did not have any intentions AT ALL of upsetting anyone and did not call anyone that went to church hypocrites.

My main purpose of the letter was just to get my baby's medical bracelet back. That is all that matters to me. I did not mean in any way to criticize ANYONE who goes to church, especially the church where my son goes to school. The church has been so great with my son and he LOVES going there and they have treated me and my family wonderfully. If I had known at the time of my last letter that the diaper bag could have been left in the parking lot, I wouldn't have said anything, knowing that anyone in Cassville could have picked it up.

To all the people that I offended, I am truly sorry and that was not my intentions AT ALL!! I was just wanting my baby's bracelet back. So please forgive me for offending anyone by my last letter.
