Alice P. Williams, 73, of Oakley, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Dawson and Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, Decatur, Ill.
She was born June 7, 1933, in Morrisonville, Ill., the daughter of Orthello Whitley and Bernadine Durbin Reddick. She married Troy E. Williams Jr. on June 11, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2002. She formerly worked at Taylor Pharmaceutical as a process operator. She was a member of Hillside Bethel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include her children: Beckie Bien-Spencer and her husband Carl, Geri Van Winkle and her husband, Gary, all of Oakley, Chuck Williams and his wife, Gladys, of Atlanta, Ill., Marty Williams and his wife Maureen, of Cassville, tom Williams and his wife Cinda, of Decatur, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Anna Mae Shepard and her husband, Ted, all of Decatur, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Della Hall, brother, Bill Reddick and her grandparents.
