Elva Eads, 49, of Cassville, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at her residence in Cassville, following a sudden illness.

She was born Sept. 29, 1956, the daughter of Owen Jones and Elva Kitsmiller, in Lawrence, Kan. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Barry County Care Center in Cassville. She moved to Cassville seven months ago from Jasper.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jessica McCormack, of the home; two sons, Jason Murphree and his wife Norma, of Carthage, and Jeremy Murphree of the home; her mother Elva Kitsmiller, of Cassville; one brother, William Jones, of Sarcoxie. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hackney Cemetery in Jasper, with the Pastor Frank Navarro officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the White Funeral Home in Cassville.
