DOROTHY SUE PASS

Dorothy Pass, 84, of Monett, formally of Exeter passed away on Sept. 20, 2006, at Monett Health Care Center following a short illness. She was born May 23, 1922, in Maryville, Tenn., the daughter of the late John Dillard and Hazel Combs Myer. She married James Berton Pass on April 1, 1944, and he survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church, Wheaton.

Survivors include: her husband James Berton Pass; one son, James B. Pass II, of Monett; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Glessner, of Monett; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Donald Myers, of Birmingham, Ala. John D. Myers, of Angola, Ind. and two sisters, Ruby Allen, of Maryville, Tenn; and Catherine Bohanan, of Birmingham, Ala.

She was preceded in death by one son, Melton Brickwell Pass.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Burial followed at the Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.

Arrangements were under the direction of Bennett- Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
