JEANNE CLAIRE (WILEY) KELLEY

Jeanne Claire (Wiley) Kelley, 53, of Marionville, was born on Jan. 30, 1953, and died Sept., 17, 2006, at her lake home in Shell Knob of natural causes. Survivors include: her two sons, Samuel Brett Kelley, 24, of Marionville, and Brian Thomas Kelley, 19, of St. Louis; one brother, Larry W. Wiley, of Maryville, and her husband's parents, Ralph C. and Geraldine Kelley, of Cassville. She was preceded in death by her parents, W. J. Wiley and Norma Wiley, her husband, Thomas D. Kelley, and brother, Hugh T. Wiley.

She graduated from Marionville High School in 1971, SMSU St. John's School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She was a practicing RN for 32 years including being a flight nurse and emergency room nurse manager. She lived in Louisiana, Mo., for 18 years and worked at Pike County Memorial Hospital. For the past eight years she served as ER nurse manager and most recently as Diagnostic and Outpatient Services Director at Cox Hospital in Monett. She was also active in regional and state disaster planning.

Services were held at the Mars Hill Community Building and Cemetery south of Crane Saturday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
