Larry Galletly, 61, of Seligman, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at the Fayetteville, Ark., VA Hospital.
He was born July 9, 1945, at Kansas City, Kan., to Raymond Galletly and Veda Fern Wells Galletly. He was a US Navy veteran serving in Vietnam aboard the USS Ranger and was a member of Flight Squad #151. He moved from Kansas City to Seligman in 1990 to make his home. he was an electronics technician, mechanic, plumber and raised polled Hereford cattle. He was a member of VFW Post #3031 in Rogers, Ark. He was also a Baptist. he is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Cynthia Galletly of the home; three daughters, Christy Hardwick and husband, Kevin, of Kansas City, Kan., Tessie Brandt and husband, Lee, of Basehor, Kan., and Carrlie Brey, of Seligman; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for Friday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at the VA National Cemetery in Fayetteville with full military honors by Rogers VFW Post #3031 and Rev. Frank Navarro officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge, Ark.
