Clara L. Blythe, 89, of Kimberling City, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Sept. 5, 1917, in Shell Knob, the daughter of Charles and Maggie Matilda (Brock) Epperly. On Dec. 25, 1936, she was united in marriage to Floyd Blythe who preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Elsie Cooper, Hilma Butler and Nancy Whisman and two brothers, Olen Epperly and Clarence Epperly.

Survivors include: one daughter, Anna Yoder and her husband, Greg, of Kimberling City; a brother, Quintin Epperly of Cassville; a granddaughter; one great grandson; and three step-grandchildren,

She received her education in Shell Knob. She farmed and was a homemaker all her life. Clara attended the Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the Shell Knob Church of Christ under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. GordonShields conducted the services. Burial will be at Clio Cemetery, Jenkins.
