DELORES IRENE YOUNG

Delores Irene Young, 67, of Seligman, died Thursday, Aug. 24, at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield.

She was born Feb. 21, 1939, at Talihina, Okla., to Luther Jefferson Ragland and Lucy Irene Webb Ragland. She was a life long resident of this area and was an inspector for Glad Manufacturing, retiring in 1994 after 20 years. She was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sonny Young; one brother, Bennie Ragland; and one granddaughter, Courtney Henderson.

Survivors include: a son, Gary Lee Young and wife, Peggy, of Washburn; a daughter, Lisa Henderson and husband, Jeff, of Cassville; one brother, Jim Ragland and wife, Margarette, of Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Melba Gardner, of Rogers, Ark., Betty Wilbanks and husband, Floyd, of Monett, and Barbara Mooney and husband, Clyde, of Seligman; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Monday at Washburn First Baptist Church with Brother Glenn Erwin officiating. Burial was at Seligman Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
