Lena "Lozell" Osborn, 59, of rural Purdy, died Aug. 16, 2006, at her home.

She was born Jan. 26, 1947, in Gainesville. She was employed by International Institute of Learning in Monett and attended berwick Church west of Pierce City.

She married William "Bill" Edward Osborn on June 12, 1965, in Springfield, and he survives.

Additional survivors include: one daughter, Melissa Ray, of Mt. Vernon; her mother, Velma Thornton Sanders, of Springfield; two brothers, Larry Sanders, of Ava and Deloss Sanders, of Dora; two sisters, Joyce Herrell, of Springfield and Janice Imondi, of West Plains; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sanders.

Services were held Saturday at Lakin Chapel in Pierce City with Ken Terry officiating. Burial was at Berwick Cemetery, west of Pierce City, under the direction of Lakin Funeral Home of Pierce City.
