Olive M. Wells, 84, of Washburn, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at her home. She was born July 15, 1922, the daughter of Wilmer and Olive Weigner Montanya, in Glenside, Penn., She was a veteran of World War II, having served as a Navy Wave. She was a retired employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She moved to Washburn in 2003 from Pittsburgh, Penn. She married James L. Wells on July 8, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1998. survivors include: one son, Everett Wells and his wife, Karen, of Perrysburg, Ohio; three daughters, Olive Wells, of Dekalb, Ill., Wilma Keefe and her husband, Robert, of Effingham, S. C., Emily Swan and her husband, Warren, of Washburn; one brother, Bill Montanya and his wife, Ruth, of Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Wolfe Memorial Forest Hills Chapel in Pittsburgh, Penn., with Rev. Jonathan Hill officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wolfe Memorial Forest Hills Chapel in Pittsburgh, Penn. Memorials may be made to the New Covenant Christian Academy, 2298 South 13th Street, Rogers, AR 72758.
