BULAH "BOOTS" SHOEMAKER

Bulah "Boots" Shoemaker, 80, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at Lacoba Nursing Center in Monett, following a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Galena, to the late Ray and Annie Sims Williams. She was a housewife. She married James Shoemaker on Feb. 7, 1944, in Mt. Home Ark., and he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 2004.

Survivors include: two sons, Jim Shoemaker, of Monett, Jerry Shoemaker, of Netcong, N.J.; two brothers, Bob Williams, of Centerton, Ark., Marion Williams, of Purdy; one sister, Marge Foster, of Purdy; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel with Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating. Burial was at the Calton Cemetery under direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett.

Memorials are to be made to Lacoba Nursing Center in care of the funeral home.
