Phoebe "Annabelle" Holley, 81, died, Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at Parks Edge Nursing Home in Tulsa, Okla.
She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Purdy to Ed and Ann (McClure) Rodgers. She married Owen W. Holley on Feb. 2, 1945, who preceded her in death Feb. 9, 2006.
She and her husband lived in Kansas City for 31 years. She worked as a secretary for Interpace Corporation for 25 years. After retirement, the Holley's moved to the Carriage Hills area of Afton, Okla. and then moved on to Grove in the early 1990s. She was a member of both Grand Lake Baptist Church and Bernice Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Nicholson, of Tulsa, Okla., and Pat Dunaway and her husband, Jack of Havelock, N. C.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Bernice Baptist Church, Bernice, Okla., with Pastor Butch Miller officiating. Interment followed at Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort, under the direction of Ellis Family Funeral Home in Grove, Okla.
