Anna Mae Burns, 69, of Seligman, passed away Monday, July 31, 2006, in Northwest Medical Center of Benton County, Bentonville, Ark.
She was born Jan. 10, 1937, in McDonald County, the daughter of Loy and Flossie (Hendrix) Wade. On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Hubert "Mickey" Burns, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Mike Burns and his wife, Connie, and Dewayne Burns and his wife, Jennifer, of Bentonville, Ark.; a daughter, Debbie Dohne and her husband, Randy, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; a sister, Evelyn Hopkins and her husband, Joe, of Cassville; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She received her education in Washburn. She lived most of her life in the Washburn area and resided the past 45 years in Seligman, Missouri. She was employed with Justin Boot Factory for 30 years and had retired. Anna Mae was a member of the New Hope Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Gary Griffin and Bob Burns will conduct the service. Burial will be at Seligman Cemetery, Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
