A familiar face will soon return to Barry County business circles. On Monday, it was announced that Mike McCracken has been named community president of Commerce Bank's Barry County division.
McCracken, a native of Wheaton, has served as a member of the Commerce Bank, Barry County, Board of Directors since 1992. During his 14 years on the board, McCracken has gained extensive knowledge of the financial institution and its customers.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Mike to the leadership team at Commerce," said Fred Osborn, chairman of Commerce Bank's Mo-Kan Region.
"Barry County is important to our company, and we think his qualifications reflect the high priority we place on our customers and the communities we serve here," Osborn continued. "We look forward to working with him to ensure Commerce delivers the highest quality of service to our customers."
In addition to serving on the bank board, McCracken has extensive experience in business and management. Since 2000, McCracken has served as president and chief executive officer of Jakel Incorporated in Aurora.
The majority of his career was spent with Fasco Industries, Inc. While employed by Fasco in Cassville, McCracken served as manufacturing and materials manager, director of operations, president of the Cassville Division and president of AC Division.
