MORRIS BUTCH ROSS

He was born Oct. 30, 1948, in New Orleans, La., to Bill and Ruth Haney Ross. He was a Vietnam veteran and a retired truck driver.

Survivors include: his parents, Bill and Ruth Haney Ross, of Chilocothe; one son, Josh Ross, of The Colony, Texas; two daughters, Shonda Simpson, of Aurora, and Sheila Mahan, of Aurora; four sisters, Janice Norris, of Omaha, Texas, Sandra Dana, of Springfield, Tammy Hutchins, of Shreveport, La., and Jill Stedem, of Columbia; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
