Jerry Lee Butts, 61, of Washburn, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2006, in his home.

He was born June 14, 1944, in Marshfield, the son of Ralph and Eula (Petty) Butts. On Oct. 17, 1963, in Marshfield he was united in marriage to Patsy Goodale, who survives.

Additional survivors include: three sons, John F. Butts, Jerry Lynn Butts and his wife, Delores, and James Lee Butts and his wife, Anna, all of Washburn; two brothers, Donald Butts and his wife, Sue, of Marshfield, and David Gene Butts and his wife, Deatta, of Marshfield; three sisters, Irma Nance and her husband, Jerry, of Odessa, Bonnie Roetto and her husband, Mitchell, of Niangua, and Jerry's twin sister, Judy Hayes, of Marshfield; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He received his education in Marshfield. In 1986 he moved from Marshfield to the Washburn area to make his home. He was a truck driver for 36 years and worked for Tri State Trucking. He was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church .

Graveside services were held in Good Hope Cemetery, Marshfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Frank Crosby and John Butts conducted the services.
