Paul Richard Bohmke, Jr., 77, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

He was born May 27, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Paul Richard, Sr. and Amelia (Boiahr) Bohmke. He was united in marriage to Joan Barbara Riggins, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Erwin; one sister, Freda and one grandson.

survivors include: three sons, Paul Richard Bohmke, III, of Cassville, David Bohmke, of Des Moines, Iowa, and Darrell Bohmke, of El Cajon, Calif.; a daughter, Lee Ann Cummins, of Cassville; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great-great grand-children.

He received his education in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduation from High School he entered the United States Navy and served his country for 28 years. He was a mail carrier for Hewlett Packard in Rancho Bernardo, Calif., for 15 years after his retirement from the Navy. In the year 2000 he moved to Missouri. He was of the Morman faith.

A memorial service with military honors were held Tuesday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
