The boys team finished third at the six-team meet with 75 points behind Carl Junction and Webb City.
Cassville medalists were:
Kyle Bishop: first place, high jump, 6'2".
Nick Pianalto: second place, discus.
Ryan Schlichtman: second place in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs.
Michael Baker: second place, long jump.
The 800-meter relay team of Brian Elkins, Nate Evans, Baker and Jon Haney placed third.
The 3,200-meter relay team of Evans, Baker, Colt Beck and Cory Wilbanks placed third.
Other top finishers for the boys were: Justin Nosler, sixth place, 300-meter hurdles; Evans, fifth, 400-meter run; Schlichtman, sixth, 800-meter run; Wilbanks, fourth, 3,200-meter run; and Jeremy Archuleta, sixth, long jump.
Girls results
The girls' squad earned 63 points at Carl Junction.
Medalists were:
Misty Long: first in the 3,200-meter run.
Tia Baker: third in the 800-meter run.
Brittany Vollenweider: third in discus.
The 3,200 relay team of Baker, Courtney Beagle, Ariel Abramovitz and Long finished second.
The 400-meter relay team of Paige Hukill, Whitley Willard, Brittany Wilbanks and Ron'L Hoff finished second.
Other top finishers for the Ladycats were: Hoff, fifth, 100-meter run; Vollenweider, fifth, shot put; Leah Jones, fourth, 400-meter run; Abramovitz, fourth, 800-meter run; and Beagle, fourth, 1,600-meter run.
"We really bounced back at Carl Junction," said Coach Brian Wilbanks.
The track teams host the Cassville Relays on Thursday and then compete at Monett next week with a jayvee meet scheduled for Tuesday and the varsity meet to be held on Thursday, April 27.
