Allen A. Robbins, 86, of Exeter, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006, in his home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Cassville the son of Roxie and Opal (May) Robbins. On Oct.19, 1941, in Las Vegas, Nev., he was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Bates, who preceded him in death March 17, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, four brothers and three grandchildren.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Robbins and his wife, Sallie, of Shell Knob; three daughters, Jeannine Gordon and her husband, Glade, of Oren, Utah, Darlene Sherman and her husband, Kenneth, of Eagle Rock, and Barbara Berg and her husband, Bill, of Exeter; one brother, Marlen Robbins, of Washburn; one sister, Annetta Hilburn, of Aurora; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
He received his education in Cassville. He and Mary lived in San Bernardino, Calif., before moving to Exeter in 1960. He retired from EFCO in Monett, after working there 22 years. He was a member and deacon of the Victory Baptist Church in Cassville.
Graveside services were held Sunday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Russell Bishop conducted the services.
