She was married to Max Cooper Oct. 4, 1942, at the First Christian Church, Cassville. They had been married 61 years when Max passed away on June 5, 2004.
survivors include: one daughter, Durenda Allison, and her husband, Jim, of Springfield, one son, Michael Cooper, and his wife, Bonnie, of Atlanta, Ga., one granddaughter, two step grandchildren; one brother, Charles D. Willis and his wife, Clara Louise, of Garfield, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was active in the First Christian Church of Cassville as Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. She also taught in Vacation Bible School, played the piano for church services, and accompanied the choir for special numbers and cantatas.
Funeral services were held at Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville Monday with burial immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
