LEVEDA DUNBAR

Laveda Irene (Wyatt) Dunbar, 62, of Cassville died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at her home. She was born April 26, 1943 in Moscow Mills, a daughter of the Joseph Allen and Ruby Beatrice (Lester) Wyatt. She attended Fulton Schools. She was married September 3, 1960 in Waterloo, Ill., to Robert Leroy Dunbar, Sr., who survives at the home.

She was a licensed nurse, working at the St. Joseph Home for the Aged for many years and also for the Barry County Care Center in Cassville.

Additional survivors in-clude: six children, John Dunbar, of Cassville, Bill Dunbar, of Richland, Kendall Dunbar, of Cassville, Roberta Walling, of Cassville, Michael Dunbar, of Auxvasse, and Robert Dunbar, Jr., of Cassville; six brothers and sisters: Dorothy Malecheck, of Westpoint, Va.; Louise Sledge, of Leander, Texas, Olivia Loeffler, of St. Peters, Archie Martin, of Moscow Mills, David Wyatt, of Holts Summit, and Ruby Reed, of Holts Summit; 28 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was pre-ceded in death by a grandchild, Stacy Lee Walling, and three brothers: Franklin Wyatt, Vernon Wyatt and Joseph "J.D." Wyatt.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Slater-Millard Family Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
