Francis William Roberts, 90, of Seligman, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Ark.
He was born Jan. 16, 1916, at Jenks, Okla., to Clarence C. Roberts and Arelia Charlotte Growow Roberts. He was an industrial machinist and worked for Beech Aircraft in Wichia, Kan., for 10 years, before moving to Missouri to make his home and was a farmer. He married Feliciats bolante, Oct. 25, 1983, in the Philippines. He was a member of the NW Arkansas Deaf Assoc., NW Arkansas beekeeper Assoc., and the NRA. He was a Baptist and is preceded in death by his parent sand five brothers.
Survivors include: his wife, Fely Roberts, of the home; one daugther, Gloria Jean Tolbert Hunton and her husband, Thomas, of Bentonville, Ark.; two sons, Glenn Curtis Roberts and his wife, Gladys, of Battle Mountain, Nev., Jim Ralph Roberts and his wife, Linda Kay, of Tucson, Ariz.; his former wife, Minnie Pearl Tubb Roberts Jones Brown, of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Henry Roberts, of Larned, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge, Ark.
A memorial service was held Saturday at Bethel Deaf Fellowship church with Rev. Rocky Shifflett officiating.
