Dear Editor: This observation does not concern our open and insecure borders, where thousands of illegal immigrants invade the U.S. every month-contrary to our Constitution and immigration laws.
Nor does it approach the administration's move to relinquish our U.S. port operations to our "ally" UAE-owned DPW, despite their pre 9-11 terrorist money laundering and contribution of two WTC fatal airplane hijackers.
It does not broach the miserable failure to respond to Katrina or $300 million worth of "misplaced" trailers in Arkansas.
It does, however, question the disparity of the president's generous offer to repair that golden dome of the Shiite shrine, destroyed by fellow Arabs during their current "political conflicts."
The use of U.S. troops and U.S. (or borrowed Chinese) dollars for dome repairs when our citizens neighbors in the Gulf States are without roof-or homes-is ludicrous.
The administration's choice of priorities is most alarming and prompts me to offer this comment: "You're doing a heck of a job, Georgie!"
