Joseph (Otto) Adolph Hren, 79, a resident of Holiday Island, Ark., was born June 20, 1926, in Sheboygan, Wis., a son of Joseph and Theresa (Ropas) Hren. He departed this life Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in Eureka Spings, Ark.
He was a lead welder for Wisconsin Public Service Corp. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville. He was a veteran, having served our coutry with the United States Navy during World War II.
On July 11, 1959, he was united in marriage with Jean (Mueller) Hren, who survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Hren; two brothers; and one sister.
Additional survivors include: a sister and brother-in-law, Josie and Glenn Hesslink, of Palm Bay, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Gerald and his wife, Claire Mueller, of Fond Du lac, Wis.; and two sisters-in-law, Marion Henning, of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Carole Owens, of Santa Fe, N.M.
Memorial funeral mass will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Cassville, with Father David Miller officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Edwards Catholic Church.
