Marsha Diane Hearn, 48, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Dec. 26, 1957, in Quantico, Va., the daughter of William L. and Marcella Irene (Hunter) Hearn. She was united in marriage to Dennis James Wood, who survives.

Additional survivors include: two daughters, Carrie Anne Wyman, of Grain Valley, and Tamara Michelle Lavina Dodd, of Independence; three sons, Jason Michael Ishmael, of Lawson, Michael Lee Hearn, of Hannibal, and Shawn Paul Ishmael, of Independence; three sisters, Georgetta Kae Hearn, of Newport, R.I., Alberta Jean Ishmael, of Aurora and Maria Rae McMullen, of Purdy; three brothers, William Lee Hearn, II of Kansas City, Theodore Lewis Farwell, of New Bedford, Mass., and Fredrick Farwell, of Kansas City; her father and step-mother, William Lee and Ruth Nadine Hearn, of the state of Florida; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcella Saunders; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Elaina Irene Hearn; a grandson, Miguel Hearn and a sister, Lauretta Ann Farwell Henne.

She grew up and received her education in the greater Kansas City area. Most of her adult life was spent in the Midwest with the exception of seven years in Newport, R.I. and seven years in Hermiston, Ore. In October, 2001, she moved to Cassville to make her home. She last worked as a long haul truck driver.

She was a member of All Faith United Methodist Church, Eagle Rock, Missouri.

Funeral services were held Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Nancy Wilson will conducted the services. Burial was at Goodnight Cemetery, Purdy.
