Paula Kaye Matthews, 44, of Tulsa, Okla., passed away Wednesday, Jan.18, 2006, in her home.

She was born Sept. 10, 1961, in Eureka Springs, Ark., the daughter of Riley G. and Beverly A. Matthews, who survive.

Additional survivors in-clude: one son, John Groves and his wife, Kelley, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a daughter, Brandi Groves and her fiancÚ, Scott Brackett, of Tulsa, Okla.; a step daughter, Christi Lee and her husband, Jason, of White Bluff, Tenn.; one sister, Saundra S. Matthews, of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Riley G. Matthews, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ricky L. Matthews, of Tulsa, Okla.; and five grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by a brother, Russell L. Matthews, maternal grand-parents, John Lowell Painter and Ester Geneva Painter; paternal grandparents, Letha Elmore Matthews and John Henry Matthews .

Paula was saved and baptized at an early age at the Lakeview Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa, Okla. She worked as a waitress and was a member of the Victory Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Yarnall conducted the services. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
