Iva Marie Daniel, 95, of Verona, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at her home.

She was born Jan. 17, 1910, in Highlandville, to the late Robert Hershel and Mary Rebecca "Mae" Welch Maples. She married Pearl Guyman "P.G." Daniel in Stone County, on Aug. 23, 1929. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Madry Community Church, near Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: three daughters, Loretta Crouch, Maxine Daniel, and Betty Coyne, all of Verona; two sons, Clifford Daniel, of Monett, and James Daniel, of Aurora; two brothers, Wendell Maples, of Spring Arbor, Mich., and Ward Maples, of Billings; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, with Rev. Max Edmondson officiating, followed by internment in Calton Cemetery, near Pleasant Ridge.
