Lola Belle Allbright, 80, of Shell Knob, passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, in Red Rose Inn, Cassville.

She was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Galva, Kan., the daughter of Wilbur and Opal (Finkle) Russell. She was united in marriage to Gordon G. Nelzen and to this union three sons were born. On May 12, 1984, in Shell Knob, she married Wiley G. Allbright.

She received her education in Galva, Kan., and was a 1944 graduate of Galva High School. She and her first husband owned and operated J & N Pump Service, where she was secretary several years. In 1983 she moved to Shell Knob from McPherson, Kan.

She was baptized in the Methodist Faith. She was a member of the Shell Knob Lions Club, being named Lioness of the Year. She was also a life member of Shell Knob VFW Auxiliary, receiving the 10-year service award and was pull tab chairperson and a life member of Order of the Eastern Star.

survivors include: her husband, Wiley; three sons, Tony Nelzen and his wife, Kathy, of Newton, Kan., Nathan Nelzen and Ross Nelzen, of Houston, Texas; and one grandson, John Nelzen.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, two sisters and one brother.

At the special request of Lola, no services will be held and her body will be cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Burial will be at Lake Park Memorial Gardens.
