JAMES "JIM" ELMUN CROWE

He was born Nov. 27, 1953, in Tulare, Calif., the son of Lowell and Estelle Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Leon Crowe.

Survivors include: one son, Robert Crowe and his wife, Angela, of Monett; three daughters, Stephanie Rice and her husband, Shane, of Monett, Tabatha Crowe, of Monett, and Elizabeth Yarber and her husband, Kenneth, of Purdy; his mother, Estelle Vaughn, of Neosho; two brothers, Bill Crowe, of Rogers, Ark., and Ray Vaughn and his wife, Gina, of Rogers, Ark.; and 11 grandchildren.

He received his education in McDonald County where he resided most of his life. He lived and worked as a heavy equipment operator in Colorado Springs for 15 years until four years ago when he moved back to Neosho. He was a member of the I.U.O.E. #9 in Colorado and attended the Prosperity Baptist Church in Rocky Comfort.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery, Rocky Comfort.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home.
