DON R. CHADD, SR.

Donnie Ray Chadd, Sr., of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.

He was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Washburn, to the late Troy and Marie Elgin Chadd. He married Leta Reed on May 9, 1959, in Seligman, and she survives. He was a retired funeral director and construction worker. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Howard and Clifford Chadd; and one sister, Betty Hall.

Additional survivors in-clude: one daughter, Alesa Joseph, of Miami, Okla.; one son, Donnie Chadd, of Exeter; one brother, Bob Chadd, of Exeter; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville, with Rev. John Duncan and Rev. Jerry Yarnall officiating.
