Hazel Marie Hooten, 92, of Exeter, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, in Red Rose Inn of Cassville.
She was born May 21, 1913, in Exeter, the daughter of Fred and Lena (Antle) Cole. On August 20, 1932 she was united in married to Guy Hooten, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include: two daughters, Phyllis Howe of Exeter, and Oleta Catron and her husband, Robert, also of Exeter; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She received her education in the Union Valley School and was a lifelong resident of the Exeter area. She was a homemaker and worked for a time at the Sale Barn Café. She was a member of the Exeter First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Thomas Hollow Extension Club.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jerry Yarnall conducted the services. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
