Kenneth Rolland "Mike" Coble, 90, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, in St. John's Hospital, Cassville.
He was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Washburn, the son of James R. and Venna Ethel (Harp) Coble. On Nov. 15, 1939, in Cassville, he was united in marriage to Mary Alice Bowman, who survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.R. Coble and B.A. Coble; and one sister, Mildred Horast.
He received his education at Washburn and was a 1933 graduate of Washburn High School. In 1941 he moved to Kansas City and worked for Manor Bakery. He resided in California a few years and worked for Archway Cookies there. He then moved back to Kansas City and established his own candy re-packing business, known as Kandi-Pack. After selling Kandi-Pack in 1975, he began working for Dodson Insurance, retiring in 1980 as manager of office supplies and later moved to Cassville to make his home.
He was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. John Duncan conducted the services. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
