A bevy of "beautiful" and brave senior boys at Cassville High School will take to the stage on Saturday, Dec. 17 for the first-ever Big Man On Campus male beauty pageant.
The event, which will benefit Cassville Project Graduation, has attracted a field of 16 contestants who will be vying for the BMOC title.
Candidates include: D.J. Meadows, Cody Ricklefs, Johnny Strahan, Seth Magoon, Bryan Gryder, Tony Sizemore, Dakota Russell, Matt Boles, Mitch Alcala, Jason Bromley, Bradley Lester, Andrew Greathouse, Aaron Wahlert, Brian Kasperski, Gordon Grimm and Josh Gauss.
The boys will compete in three categories: evening gown, talent and judge's question. Judge for the event include Tonya Bolton, Jennifer Hanson, Pete Landstad, Jeni Bergman, Jim Bower and Joe Cavness.
Master of ceremonies for the gala evening will be Jon Horner.
Tickets for the Big Man On Campus pageant are now on sale and can be purchased in the Cassville High School office or from any member of the senior class. Advance tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. At the door, the ticket price will increase to $8 for adults and $5 for children. Those under the age of 5 will be admitted free.
Pageant competition will begin at 5 p.m. in the CHS gymnasium. Proceeds from the event will go toward Cassville Project Graduation, which will provide an alcohol- and drug-free graduation celebration.
