RENA MAE BRITTENHAM
Rena Mae Brittenham, 88, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005,
She was born on Sept. 12, 1917, in Monett, to the late Sanford and Alma Lee Davis. She married Philip Brittenham on Aug. 21, 1937, in Springdale, Ark., and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include: three daughters, Phyllis Jackson, of Stark City, Marilyn Baker and Patty Burge, both of Monett; one son, David Brittenham, of Monett; two sisters, Ruth Henderson, of Monett, and Fern Terry, of Pierce City; two brothers, Bill Davis and Jerry Davis, both of Monett; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church, near Purdy.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel, Monett, with Rev. Lee Neill officiating, followed by interment at Bethel Cemetery, near Monett.
