Mildred Marie Lilleoien, 84, of Purdy, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at her home following a long illness.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1921, in Purdy to the late John and Anna Storck Miller. She married Clarice Lilleoien on July 29, 1945, in Springfield, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She taught school in Purdy and was a member of St. John's Stone Prairie Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Alan Lilleoien, of Overland, Park, Kan.; one sister, Verna Mae Nations, of Cassville; one brother, Gene Miller, of Purdy; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Mary Ann; and three sisters, Elna, Marzella and Dorothy.

A graveside service was held Tuesday at St. John's Stone Prairie Cemetery, near Purdy, with Pastor John Roach, officiating.

Memorials may be made to the church.
