Hershel Kenneth Hall, 85, of Purdy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Monett Health Care. He was born Jan. 23, 1920, in Cassville to the late Homer and Nora Ennis Hall. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Douthitt in Butterfield on Feb. 6, 1940, and she survives.
He was a retired farmer and attended Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church at Purdy.
Survivors include: his wife, two daughters, Sharon Clifton, of Purdy, and Becky Parrett, of Nixa; two sons, Ken Hall, of Purdy, and Jerry Hall, of Monett; two sisters, Eleanor Winters, of Wichita, Kan., and Lois Kennedy, of Monett; two brothers, Columbus Hall, of Carthage, and Glenn Hall, of Purdy; seven grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Alma Myers, Juanita Miller and Clara Mae Horner, and one brother, Don Hall.
Funeral services were held Saturday, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Neill officiating. interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield.
