JERRY A. GIBBS

Jerry A. Gibbs, 72, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2005, at his home. He was born in Carbondale, Ill., on March 20, 1933, to Robert and Alice (McLinn) Gibbs. He was a self-employed auto mechanic. He married Pansy Ann Fry in Miami, Okla., on Nov. 22, 1991.

He has lived in this area since 1976 coming from California.

Survivors include: his wife, Pansy; five sons, Roy Gibbs, of Monett, John Gibbs, of Kelso, Wash., Frank Gibbs, of San Diego, Calif., Bill Gibbs, of Sunnymeade, Calif., and Jerry G. Gibbs, Jr. of Sunnymeade, Calif.; two daughters, Alice Laughlin, of Avoka, Ark., and Mary Kozial, of Pineville; one brother, Clyde Gibbs, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Mary Stanton, of Chicago, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren.

Arrangements for cremation are under direction of the Wheaton Funeral Home in Wheaton. There will be no visitation.
