Ladycat runners compete at state

Thursday, November 10, 2005

Cassville's Ron'L Hoff was the Ladycats top finisher at the Class 2 cross country championships on Saturday in Jefferson City. The sophomore finished in 76th with a time of 22:52.

Freshmen Courtney Beagle and Tia Baker also finished the difficult course in strong fashion. Beagle finished 84th (23:01) and Baker was 96th (23:16). The girls competed against 153 other runners.

"Our young ladies ran good times in a very fast-paced race," said Coach Chris Shore. "The winning time was 19:08 as compared to 20:16 last year. It was a good experience for our girls."
