Marie Bowman, 75, of Monett, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005 at her home, following a long illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Perryton, Texas, to the late A.B. and Clara Reeser Pease. She married Billy Bowman on April 19, 1947, in Columbus, Kan.
She was retired from Jumping Jacks Shoes, and had also been employed with Kay's Floral and Wickman Gardens. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Monett, the Women's Golf Association, and she was a volunteer for meals on wheels.
Survivors include: her husband; Billy; one daughter, Sandy Lind, of Mt. Vernon; one son, Larry Bowman, of Monett; three sisters, Georgie McCloud, of Cave Junction, Ore., Jewell Keller, of Midland, Texas, and Adie carlisle, of Wichita, Kan.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at First United Methodist church of Monett with Rev. Cliff Crockett officiating, followed by interment at Oakdale Cemetery, Monett.
