Nancy L. Gann Granger, 78, of Stella, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at her home following a long illness.
She was born June 30, 1927, in Arkansas City, Kan. She worked at East Newton School District for several years and retired in 1999. She was a member of the Jones Chapel Church and was very active in the Stella Senior Citizens, had served as president and was active in the Stella Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She married Leon Gann on April 1, 1944, who preceded her in death. She then married Fay Granger, and he also preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Fay Patton and a brother, Robert Ford.
Survivors include: five children, Liana Gann, of Mulberry, Kan., Larry Granger and his wife, Sue, of Proctor, Okla., Sandra Granger, of Springfield, Gary Granger and his wife, Vicki, of Stella, Randy Granger and his wife, Beverly, of Neosho, and Ron Granger, of Stella; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; five brothers, Zach Ford, Max Ford, Jerald Ford, Jimmy Ford, and Bill Ford, all of Snowhomie, Wash.; and two sisters, Velda Meyers and Wanda Stach, of Snowhomie.
Services will be held Thursday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, with Rev. Brian Brinkhoff officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery and grandsons, Tony Buckley, Kenny Bunch, Tad Patton, Matt Granger and Chad Granger will serve as pallbearers.
