LORENE RUPP

Lorene Rupp, 71, of Purdy, passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at her home in Purdy. She was born April 2, 1934, in Verona to the late Ray Homer and Martha Ann Sims Williams. She married Leleand J. Rupp on June 10, 1952 in Monett.

She was a homemaker and a member of Stone Prairie Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Rupp; and two brothers, Jack and Loren Williams.

Survivors include: one son, Terry Rupp, of Republic; one daughter, Connie Holloway, of Monett, two brothers, Bob Williams, of Centerton, Ark., and Marion Williams of Purdy; two sisters, Margie Foster, of Purdy, and Bulah "Boots" Shoemaker, of Monett; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Stone Prairie Lutheran Church with Rev. John Roach officiating.
