MONA JEANNE RAY

Mona Jeanne Ray, 79, of Purdy, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. She was born July 11, 1926, to the late Kirk and Cora Abarm Douthitt. She married Walter Ray in Cassville on Jan. 25, 1945.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Purdy. She was an owner of Ray Feed Store in Cassville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one daughter, Susie Ray.

Survivors include: one son, Larry Ray, of Purdy; two sisters, Louise Good, of Cassville, and Marjorie Hall, of Purdy; and one grandchild.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 29 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
